During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was feeling isolated and looking for a way to connect with others. I figured a fun way to deal with that isolation would be to create a podcast where guests would introduce me to a favorite album of theirs. That podcast—You, Me and An Album—has been even more fun and fulfilling than I could have imagined, but it’s also taught me that sometimes it’s difficult to connect with someone else’s favorite music.
